Default [SOLVED] Move from Ubuntu 8.04 32bit to 10.04 64bit

I've seen directions on moving from 32 bit to 64 bit and from one server to another (same version on both), however I am in the position of having to go from Ubuntu 8.04 32bit to Ubuntu 10.04 64bit and I don't see anything that fits my situation.

Since there isn't a 32bit version of zcs 6.08 for Ubuntu 10.04, how can I transfer my data? I am currently running 6.01 FOSS.

The only solution I've come up with is to install a third machine with Ubuntu 8.04 64 bit and zcs 6.07 and move to that, then from there to the Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit machine, however I really don't want to go that route if I can avoid it.

Any other solution would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob C

There are plenty of threads in the forums (and some wiki articles) about moving from 32bit to 64bit including a change of operating system, have a good read of them: site:zimbra.com 32bit 64bit - Yahoo! Search Results

Sure, but everything I've seen includes keeping the zimbra version the same. I don't seem to have a common version of zimbra that I can use since there isn't a 32 bit version of 6.08.

There are 32-bit builds of 6.0.8 for Ubuntu 8.04. Just not for Ubuntu 10.04.

You're right! I was blind and simply focused on the 10.04 version. Thank you so much for letting me know. I feel like a dope, but at least I have direction. I appreciate the help.
