    Question Zimbra Capabilities?

Ok, so after playing with for few days we have realized that Open source edition appears to have performance issues?

We are trying to load test this thing with about 10 emails per 3 secs and its success rate is very low with a tons of time out errors.

What could be wrong here? We are using it on a Blade system with 8 GB ram + 2.4 GHz quad core processors!!!

How do we configure this so it could process large amount of emails?

    Thanks for your help.

    No, it doesn't.

With the scant information you've given it's impossible to give you any sensible answer. You've given no information about the configuration of your system such as: single or multiple server; VM or real hardware; what have you looked at on the server (top etc.) to determine where the problem might be; what type of disk subsystem (RAID and what level etc.) do you have; is your DNS configured correctly (if you're behind a NAT router you'd need a Split DNS set-up) etc. etc. You could also look through the forums for some information about performance problems.
