Default Shared Calendars without email

Hi,

I'm trying to run a zimbra server as a calendar only installation. That is to disable the email and address book etc and only have the calendar turned on.

The method I've been using is to have email enabled for accounts, create a shared calendar, accept the invitation and then disable the email feature. What ends up happening is that shared calendar events are displayed but can't be edited or new ones added.

Adding new events on the shared calendar fails silently, and trying to move an event produces the following error:

message: appCtxt.getIdentityCollection() is undefined

Not sure if this is a bug (so I thought I'd try Administrator forum first), or if I'm simply trying to do something which shouldn't be done. Any guidance is appreciated.

Thanks,

Norm

I just stumbled upon this myself, trying to achieve the same thing using Zimbra 7.1.0. Couldnt find anything on Bugzilla so I guess it's time to create yet another bug.
