Default [SOLVED] move from i386 to x86_64 installation

hi,

in a few days i get my new server. on this server i will install vmware esxi 4.1 with 64bit.
today i have the zimbra server on an i386 machine.

whats the best way to move from i386 to x86_64 installation without loosing settings and data?

current version: Release 6.0.6_GA_2324.RHEL5_20100406144520 CentOS5 FOSS edition.
os: CentOS release 5.4 (Final) i686

First of all you should search the forums for 32 to 64 bit migration/move
you will find lots of message where people have done this sucssfully.
or simple google search

main thing to understand is the LDAP migration..you should read some messages in the search to see what problems they faced and the solutions suggesed

the 95% of the migration is explained in the link below

rest please read the other messages to tweak the process for 32 > 64 bit

sry i had no time to work on this issue.
thanks for the hints i found a solution my system:
Migrating from 32 bit Centos 4.x to 64 bit Centos 5.x - Zimbra :: Wiki

that the script work i had to change some parts for 6.0.8, see the subsection in the wiki-article.
