Default Is there a way to backup the zimbra database?

I want to be able to backup all mailbox data, domains, and all global settings in zimbra. Basically, in case of a disaster, I want to be able to do a clean install of zimbra then import everything in.

Is that possible?

I'm running zimbra 6.0.8 on CentOS 5.5.

It would be nice to have a backup procedure that I can perform every night.

please search the forums for "backup" and you will see lots of messages and also working scripts and articles which can do what you want.

My script here, Yet Another Backup Script for Community Version , gets individual user db's, the zimbra db, and LDAP ldifs. It is designed to work with the rsync backup script in the same thread. The easier way of restoring an entire install is usually to restore a backup of the entire /opt/zimbra folder. However, it should also be possible to restore all of the MySQL dbs, the LDAP db, and the store.
