Default restore single user account

Hi all,

I do a nightly backup of my entire /opt/zimbra dir.

Is there a way to restore an specific account like there mail and calender data?

Not finding any easy way to do this.

there is no easy way to do this. you have all the emails in /opt/zimbra/store by mailbox id, but they're not arranged in the folder structure they were in in the web client. that structure was stored in a mysqldb.

Hi and thanks for the reply.

I'm looking to only restore a particular users calendar.

Would the following link be the correct procedure:

I can have a previous days version of Zimbra up and running and export the working calendar, then import into the current working version of Zimbra.

What do you think?

well if you have it up and running you can just do a simple calendar export from the preferences->import/export tab, then import itinto the user's account

Bdial,

The problem I originally had was that users reported missing cals.

I have a shared cal via caldav but due to a bug with iCal in 10.5+Zimbra, I had to share out the cal as a user.

What logs besides the audit log could I sift through in determining why those cals disappeared?
