New 6.0 NE backup scheme

the new default backup scheme, which is to backup files as a zip without
compression seems to result in a signifficant increased disk requirement as the number of hard linkable files decreases. Is there a way to work around this or should I simply add --noZip to the backup commands?

Add --noZip.
