Default Messages disappear from Sent folder

I have one user who is having email disappear from his 'Sent' folder. He can send an email and the copy is in his 'Sent' folder. The next day the email is gone. This have been going on since June 2010. ALL emails sent since June have disappeared in his 'Sent' folder.

Any ideas?

If not, how can I move him to a NEW account and port his old mail?

Might check:
zmprov ga user@domain.com | grep zimbraPrefSentLifetime

If that doesn't yield an interesting result - any particular thick clients involved?

Mike...thanks first off...

The results are:
zmprov ga ira.fick@mwsc.com|grep zimbraPrefSentLifetime
zimbraPrefSentLifetime: 0

There is NO thick client.

Mail will be there for 1 day and then it goes away. Mail prior to June 2010 is still there. If there is no easy way to find...Is it possible to export ALL his mail and import into a new account?
