 Truncate Message Subject Length to < 160 chars
Hey Guys,
Curious if you might know how to have the MTA's truncate the subject length, for all messages sent, to 160chars?
One of businesses we deal with blocks messages inbound with subject lengths > 160 but allows their users to send messages with any length.
Its a problem for us because our users simply reply to the same message and it gets rejected. Their sysadmins say too bad, so to alleviate frustration Id rather just have our mail system try and truncate the message subject to meet their criteria. |
