Rename Admin account

Is it safe to rename the Admin account to something else? Nothing about this that I can find in the documentation or here in the forums.

I was not sure if this was supported or would break things.

We have simply added a new account, gave it full admin rights and locked original the admin account, leaving it still there but locked.

Doesn't that count against the total number of mailboxes?
