Exclamation migration of ZCS 5.0 Open Source Edition 6.X.X

Regards

I have a server running smoothly with ZCS Open Source Edition and want to migrate mailboxes and emails to another I am configuring with the latest version of ZCS 6.0.8 Open Source.

I would like a how to of this migration as the Open Source version does not have to perform backup.

thanks in advance.

PS: search the forum and found no solution

There are plenty of articles in the forums and wiki on how to migrate to a new server: site:zimbra.com +migrate +"new server" - Yahoo! Search Results

Most Zimbra upgrades/migrations that I have done, even full version upgrades, have gone relatively smooth. However, under no circumstances would I perform an upgrade without doing a backup first.

I do not think I've got me backed

the open source version does not have the option backup/restore

Got to the wiki (link at the top of this page) and look at the front page with articles on backing up the Open Source version of Zimbra, you'll also find articles in the forums if you search.

That wasn't a criticism, it was suggested earlier that you do a backup and you responded by saying that the Open Source version does not have a backup feature - I'm merely pointing you to the Backup/restore articles.

There are dozens of posts in the forums, the blog and the wiki that describe how to migrate to a new server, you can even export the mailboxes from one server and import them into the new server. You can do that from the user preferences page or you can look in the wiki for the word 'migrate' (or is that not acceptable to you?) that will give you more ways of moving data from one server to another.
