Thumbs up Multiple domains

Hi friends,

I have installed community version zcs-5.0.2_GA and my OS is CentOS 5.5. My host name is anand.net and dns is mail.anand.net. my MX entries are in zone file is as follows.

mail.rajexcise.net. IN A 192.168.10.40
@ IN MX 10 mail.anand.net.

I had NAT this local IP to WAN IP .
I can send and receives mails in users@anand.net.

Now I want to create One more domain name is anand_mumbai.net.
my WAN IP will be same and i made changes in Zone file
mail.rajexcise.net. IN A 192.168.10.40
@ IN MX 10 mail.anand.net.
@ IN MX 20 mail.anand_mumbai.net .

In zimbra I added one domain and created two users.

up to this level everything was smooth without any problem.

If I try to sent mail from user1@anand_mumbai.net.
Mails are not going or coming on domain.

Please tell where I am wrong.

Help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance .

Anand M.

Look in the log files for the error then search the forums (this problem has been asked and answered many times).

Why did you install such an old version, anyways?

1. Better to install the latest version of Zimbra, Currently version 5.0.24 or 6.0.8. Old binary has known bugs and you may encounter some of them

2. Go to Zimbra Admin | Queue | Deferred and look at the error message why the email do not sucessfully sent.

3. It seems that you have complicated setup in DNS Server configuration. Multi domain (and also single domain) need a proper setting for DNS server setting. Could you please paste the complete setting from your DNS server configuration?

You need to look in the log files and see what the exact error is, saying you got a 'deilvery failure' tells us nothing and without the details of that error nobody can offer you any advice.

You can use the forum search function at the top of this page.

You should also go to the Split DNS article and verify that your DNS & hosts file configuration are correct.
