Default Briefcase & webdav

We testing implementing Briefcase and webdav. Things worked as expected except for one folder. This folder is named PDF's and contains approximately 2000 pdf files; there are no subfolders in this folder. The owner can see the files in his briefcase and if he connects through his Mac using webdav. Shared users can see all files and folders in shared folder an except the pdf folder (sometimes they will see the folder but then no files are listed.)

This seems to be independent of the users OS as both mac and pc users have the same issue.

Any ideas how to resolve this or is there a max numbers of files in a shared folder?

Thanks

just for testing why not make a new folder called PFD2 and only put 10 pdf files in it and connect to see if the results are same..that will eliminate the possibility of too many files in a folder.

If you can see 10 PDF files then its time to research if its count or its timing-out while traversing the large folder

Default Testing webdav and folders with large number of files

We created a new folder and everything works as expected. We have several other folders that are working.

So what to test next the number of files or timing? What do you suggest

NETGEAR ReadyNAS • View topic - WebDAV and large directory: is there a limit?

also someone talking bout some settings
How to correctly get folder size via WebDAV for large folders?
