Default Possible to over-ride POP3 client to enforce leave mail on server?

Most of our users are using Zimbra webmail and some of them accidently wipe off all their emails on the server because they use Outlook to check their email at home and Outlook POP3 default (in fact most email client are like this) will delete email from server once it get downloaded.

So when they come back to office, they are shock that all their emails are gone. Is it possible to configure Zimbra to ignore POP3 client request to wipe off emails from server?

There isn't an option to do that now. I would suggest either setting up a BCC'd archive account, or putting a feature request into Bugzilla Main Page - Zimbra asking for such a feature.

I have created the request. Please vote for it: Bug 50136 – Option to keep mail from getting wipe off by pop3 clients
