Default Auth Issues

My users were able to access the IMAP and SMTP services via mail.domain.com yesterday. After a power outage last night they now must use the servers FQDN (mail01.domain.com) rather than the CNAME. This is the case for both remote and local users. The users can also still log in via the web client without error. Does anyone know why this might be?

Thanks in advance.

-Jeff

Welcome to the forums

Have you checked DNS is okay as the browser may have cached the URI ? Anything in /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log that would point to the error ?

Thanks for the reply.

It started working after a while with the CNAME. I read somewhere on the forums about people having to wait up to 2 hours for Zimbra to start up completely. Maybe that is the case here..?
