Looping Issue

We are in the process of switch our company to ZCS from sun. To do so with the least amount of interference of our employees we need to keep the domain name the same for both email server. We worked out all the sending out issues but we are unable to receive email as it is in a loop. So if I send a message to mydomain.org it gets delivered to sun if I try to send to @zimbra.mydomain.org I get a to many hops error. I hope I explained this clearly enough. Any ideas?
