Default [SOLVED] Massive email sending

Hi all.

I've a problem when sending a massive emails number.

Every month, i need to send about 900 emails for all my work colleagues. Until my upgrade from 5.0.8 to 6.07 everything worked well.

Now, outlook (it's an automated process from an application that uses outlook), that has 900 emails in the outbox, only sends 50 emails at a time, giving errors every 50...

zimbra shows this:

Code:

The computer has Symantec Endpoint protection i get the following error:
"Your email message was unable to be sent because your mail server rejected the sender:
421 4.7.0 mailserver.com Error: too many errors"

The last month everything was fine...

Is any configuration in the server or something ?

Maybe it is not related, but just these days I removed Symantec Endpoint Security from my computer because all sorts of slow-downs made me nervous. I was testing this antivirus product for 1 week and I had many problems.
Loading some of internet content, like flash or PDF took ages, Outlook seized 3-times a day, computer was slow like it's dying... But I have super-truper workstation with RAID 10 disks, QuadCore XEON, 16 GB RAM etc...

Just disabling Symantec product was not enough - I had to remove it and went back to NOD32, which is not the best antivirus, but it does not slow down my computer.

As we speak I remembered some old problems with Symantec & mail, where there was some option in Symntec antivirus to make its scanner engine compatible with mail server. I don't remember how this option was called, just know, that without it, mail headers were full of connections to 127.0.0.1 localhost, which caused many connection errors.
TIP: try disabling OUTGOING mail scanner.

But, as I say - it might NOT be related to your problems.

Default same to me

Yes, same to me. My client installed SEP with network threat protection enabled. Ok..i'll try to remove it.

Once you have remove it, is error " too many errors after RSET " Dissapear ?

And, is there any change configuration on postfix or something?

Thx

I've solved uninstalling Outlook and installing outlook express...

I believe it's a problem of outlook.

With SEP installed and using outlook express everything is working fine.

Cheers,

Bruno
