Default forwarding, duplicating emails

On my old sendmail setup, I had several aliases, that sent to mulitple accounts. I have recreated that on Zimbra, by creating a class of service, that keeps that email for a day before deleting them. Then created the alias email address, with the alias class of service. The alias email address has multiple email accounts it forwards to. It is working great, but sending duplicate emails when forwarding.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

I think you'd have better results with a distribution list(mail list). You can create one with zmprov. In the next release you'll be able to do this with the admin UI.

Default This is a bug

This is a bug in our postfix config, which we just fixed - the change to make is to /opt/zimbra/postfix/conf/master.cf:

The last line (under 127.0.0.1:10025 inet n - n - - smtpd) should be changed from:

-o receive_override_options=no_header_body_checks,no_ unknown_recipient_checks

to

-o receive_override_options=no_header_body_checks,no_ unknown_recipient_checks
,no_address_mappings

NOTE: these are all one line, and the indentation is important.

After you make the change, restart postfix.

Default It works!

Great, thanks for the fix. Forwarding now only sends one copy.
