Default Stats not running

Hello,

I noticed today that my stats has an X in the administration panel. Quite honestly I am not sure what this means and would like to resolve the issue. Everyone can send mail just fine and have not had any complaints.
Code:
Aug 2 04:02:08 mek zimbramon[17888]: 17888:err: Service status change: server.ourserver.com logger changed from running to stopped
I also noticed a few e-mails like this one in the admin e-mail inbox.

Any ideas what could be up? I thought there would be a stats log file of some kind but I can't find any in the zimbra/log directory.

Any help much appreciated.

//Phil

Hi Mek

I have had similar issues and have had some useful suggestions. Some of them may help for you.

2 threads to start with:

Admin console server status page show stopped services
Server Status

Otherwise there are several other threads lurking in the forums that may help.

Good luck
Simon

You might also want to run ls -lr /opt/zimbra/zmstats|grep root on your servers, if you see anything come out of that you should change the files/directories ownership back to the zimbra user.
