Send emails from local network to external recipients error

Ithink the error is that provider check zimbra server for user zimbra@foxtrot.company.com, but zimbra server don`t have this user and relay don`t send e-mail...

The problem is that you're using the FQDN of your Zimbra server (foxtrot.company.com) as the domain name instead of the correct domain name company.com - you need to change it.

Just rename the domain on your Zimbra server (make sure you take a backup before you do it), search the wiki and forums for details.

You don't need anything else, all that Zimbra requires is in that directory.

My suggestion was to rename the domain on your Zimbra server, the command you've mentioned changes the server Host name. The command you want is zmprov, go to the wiki and search for the word (no spaces in that) 'renamedomain', you'll find the command you need and you'll also see some scripts for doing a backup of the OS version of Zimbra on the wiki.

Ok. If i correct understand i must:

1. zmcontrol stop
2. cp -R /opt/zimbra /home/backup/zimbra
3. zmprov -l renameDomain foxtrot.company.com company.com

right?

P.S. In admin panel i see only company.com domain. Not foxtrot.company.com, But server name is https://foxtrot.company.com:7071
