Default JAVA use HIGH

Hello all,

Has anyone noticed JAVA is not hitting the CPU Hard since 6.06 and now even with the lastest 6.07 2476, ideas ? .. We have ours running in a VPS (OpenVZ) and they have beening runnint without issue for years this way and not we are seeing as stated very high CPU usage and on both they show JAVA as the issue, to the point at times of crashing the whole VPS and master server.

Ideas ?

Found this and tried it and this appears to have solved our issue, Not sure why all of a sudden this was an issue but clearly something has changed in the latest deployments.

High idle load

Please update your profile with ZCS/ZD Version.

How's your top look when this happens - is it just Java or amavisd too?

anti-virus and spam are not running, we have Barracuda's that sit in front of our Zimbra boxes .. and it does only appear that JAVA spikes, seems to crash the box around 8AM / 9AM and then around 8PM almost every day .. looked at the cron jobs and see nothing timed for these times.

Very strange

So it could be cron related - like a backup process?
