Default Rescue mail and calendar after failed SSL instalation

I've had problems installing an SSL cert and think I've broken my zimbra server pretty badly whilst trying to fix it (I rushed into following a few guides I found on forums without bothering to try and understand what I was doing).

Now I'm hoping to get the mail and calendar items out and move them into a new build.

Can anyone tell me where to start?

Alternatively if anyone has any ideas how to fix my current zimbra then suggestions welcome. I'm currently getting the following output when I try to start up.
Code:
           Starting logger...Failed
Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.
Enabled services read from cache.Service list may be inaccurate.
           Starting logger.....Failed.
Starting logswatch...ERROR: service.FAILURE (system failure: zimbraLdapContext) (cause: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target)
zimbra logger service is not enabled! failed.

           Starting mailbox....Done.
           Starting memcached....Done.
           etc..
I'm feeling pretty desperate. I stupidly tried to do this in the middle of the day (everyone was out the office for half an hour). No-body has access to email / calendar etc..
