Default ZCS 6.07 and Apple Addressbook Carddav

According to Bug ID 46297 Carddav should work for Apple Addressbook on Snow Leopard 10.6.4 together with the ZCS 6.07. But I can't get it to work. Any news on this?

Has anyone provided exact steps for what 'doesn't work' actually means (and filed bug reports)?

Sure. Mac OS 10.6.4 address book.
Add account - CardDAV.

Server: https://ssl.ourserver.com:443
Username: mymailaddress
Password: my password

Result: Could not find a CardDAV account on that server. Setup failed.
Same on the iPhone.

hi,

i have also mac osx 10.6.4 connecting to Zimbra 6.0.7 on Ubuntu8_64 and adressbook doesn't also not work.

The most interesting thing is, when i add the account with serveradress: https://intranet.myserver.com:443 i get a certifcate warning, where adressbook connects to the wrong server. If i copy and paste the address to safari it connects to my server.

so could it be, adressbook uses a hardcodes host within the adresse?

best regards
thomas

Hi all,

i found the problem, but currently no solution.
It seems to be a bug, when Username contains an @ AB.app connects to the wrong server. So if changing the default-domain within zimbra it works, when connecting to https://intranet.myserver.com:443 the
server gets the to: intranet.myserver.com ssl is activated and the location (which is unmodifable afterwards) is set to
/principals/users/stegbth@stegbauer.info/

so apple needs to get informed, does there anybody know the procedure?

best regards
thomas

The best place to report it is http://bugreport.apple.com/

You need an apple ID but anyone can get one, e.g through the link on this page: http://myinfo.apple.com/

This might get the message through but I suspect the above page is better: Apple - Mac OS X - Feedback

Also, maybe you could try entering your username thus:

user%company.com

or (more likely)

user@company.com (see below)

Ugh, forum software interpreted my post incorrectly. Okay, I think I've found how to type it...
