Default Reminders for all-day apointments

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a way to remove/disable reminders for all-day appointments?

The problem I have is that I am being awoken at five-to-one in the morning by my phone/pda with a reminder for someone else's all-day appointment in a shared calendar. I'm delighted that they're keeping busy, but I'd rather be enjoying my sleep!

Ideally I'd like to disable reminders for all all-day appts. Alternatively is there a CLI method to remove the reminders/alarms? Think I might raise a RFE for 'disable reminders on all-day appointments in CoS or preferences'

Thanks in advance

Or at the very worst, when creating an all-day-appointment - the reminder should default to mid-day the day before. And multi-day ahead reminders should also default to mid-day.

I too have been awoken on more than one occasion at midnight for one week ahead birthday/anniversary reminders.

Dang!

It looks like it was previously OK, but was 'fixed'
Bug 35565 - reminder changed to 18 hours when all day event clicked

I've raised a bug/RFE for this:
Bug 48523 - Improved control of reminders for all-day appointments and voted.
