I have a user that is receiving attachments from a large global shipping company that are unreadable. My attempts at resolving the issue with them are really going nowhere. I know the problem is happening because their payment processing system is undergoing some sort of conversion process in which an email is created and a text attachment is made.
Here is what is produced by Zimbra if you click on the Attachment or try to use any of the attachment options like Download/Briefcase etc...

I am able to use other client software to access the mailbox and open the attachment, but the web interface flips out.
