Default not all contacts importing

I am trying to import a csv file into zimbra for a user. This file has about 80 contacts in it. When I import it only 17 contacts import. The 17 that import are not just form the top or bottom of the list, but throughout. Also, if I delete those users again and try importing the same 17 import.

I have formated the file from an export of a blank address book from zimbra.

Thanks,

Spencer

Are these instructions the ones you followed? Which version of zimbra & O/S?

Sorry, I also meant to ask: what happens if you delete those 17 users from the csv file and do the import again? Does it just skip all the records? What did you create the CSV file with?

I followed those directions and used MS office to create the file. I also did check the file with notepad to make sure its in the proper format.

Also, I was wrong in my first post, its the first 17 of the file that are being imported. I was sorting by first name in the csv file.

When I deleted the 17 contacts, the next 16 import. (it's now 16 contacts at a time)

Version: Version 3.2.0_M2_224 Jul 23, 2006 Network Addition
OS: Mac OSX 10.4

Do all the records have trailing commas? Have a look at this enrty in bugzilla, could you see if it applies to you? I've not had problems importing cvs file but I'm also on the OSS version. If that bugzilla entry doesn't apply then I'd suggest contacting support to see it's known as a bug.

Thanks for the help. It looks like I am getting closer. It was the issue with the trailing commas. Now about half are importing. I need to take a closer look at the file.

Also, I exported the file with OpenOffice instead and more of the records had trailing commas.

Thanks

*edit* It all works. I forgot to list more than 25 contacts.
