distro group help

How can i send as distribution group and not mailbox name.
I mean , I have a distro group for exmple group@domain.com and a member in it.
When i connect mailbox to zimbra desktop how can from field to be shown distro group and not personal mailbox?

Also IM is not supported in zimbra desktop????

That's correct for the moment.

You posted this in the wrong forum this is not an Installation problem, I'll move it to the correct forum. You really should read the Product Documentation especially the Admin Guide to get some idea of the features in Zimbra and what the product can do, don't forget to search the forums as I mentioned in your other thread.

I'm not really sure what you're trying to do here, you want to send an email from one address and have it show as coming from a different address - is that correct? What are you trying to achieve by doing this?

EXAMPLE
info@domain.com member is user1@domain.com and user2@domain.com

When user1@domain.com send a message i want from address to be info@domain.com and NOT user1@domain.com

ok i have ofund persona but htis work only with zimbra webmail interface and not within outlook.

You are not providing enough information about your questions, I've already told you this but you need to give a full description of the problem and steps to reproduce it and what you've done to try and fix it. If these are just questions about 'how to use' a feature then you really should read the product documentation.

I want to send as distribution group instead of mailbox name.
In exchange for example it has smtp address field. I have found persona to change mail address and i can send group@dmain.com from webmail interface of zimbra but this is not working on Outlook.
Sorry but i can't be more descriptive.

As for support i just try to evaluate a product here. Sorry but docs are limited and sorry for my manner but what i have found in here is that none want s to share his knowledge.

I kindly ask for support in order to evaluate the product, if you can;t provide as zimbra forum and as moderators then i am sorry but my time is limited for searching for the zimbra functionality and i would prefer to go to another platform with well written docs and with support on installing and evaluating.

For example kindly check microsoft technet exchange support in order to check out what mean SUPPORT between forum members and of course online docs of microsoft regarding exchange

Sorry for my manner but for one month i try firstly to ask about izmbra clustering via hearbeat , drbd (yes i know that it is not supporting), but members here who has done SHOULD help, and now i do a simply question for smtp address and noone can answer to me.

Well for one thing I've asked you if this was a problem with Zimbra Desktop or the Zimbra Web UI, you chose not to answer that question and now you're telling me it's a problem with Zimbra Connector for Outlook - where exactly is the problem? You do not provide information or answers when you're asked a question, that doesn't help.
