I'm having a problem sending email externally, inside my network the emails exchanged between users go to the mailbox when the user is outside the company sends an email and it falls right in the box spam ?

Look at the headers of an email (right-clich/Show Original) and look at the reason (the scoring) it's being put in the Junk folder. When you've done that, search the web or these forums to see the reasons and solutions to your spam problem.

Look at the scores in the spam tests such as this one RCVD_IN_PBL then search the web for that information, it will give you details of why it was marked with a high score. You need to do that for the other scores and see what caused them to be given high scores then talk to your users about why they are considered to be spammers when they use external addresses to send mail to (or through) your server.

There is the possibility of anti spam and spam do not read messages from a given domain even though it has a high score?

Hi all,

I am having the same issue with ZCS 6.0.7 (that I use on one of our servers since yesterday).

Many mails, that are sent through our server with _perfectly_ authenticated senders (Zimbra Webinterface, Zimbra Desktop...) with a local destination get _extremly_ high spam scores through RCVD_IN_PBL, RCVD_IN_BRBL_LASTEXT and RCVD_IN_RP_RNBL.

Although the Originating IP address is certainly not trustworthly those mail should not be scored with all the RCVD_IN_* values as the senders were all authenticated.

I think there is a problem with the postfix/amavis/spamassassin setup in 6.0.7

Hi all,

I think, it is bug Bug 44384 &ndash; Bypass SA for emails sent from internal ZWC users (or provide a way to score them). There is a workaround in the bug description (not tried yet - but it could work). Please consider voting on that bug!

Hello,

In my case the authentication is in Active Directory under Windows 2008 I have great knowledge of how to settle this problem that is generating a lot of mail in spam when sent externally by a user's internal network.

The Zimbra server is not my main e-mail, I'm transferring a postfix server to use the zimbra postfix transport to zimbra.

If someone can guide me how to go about resolving this error thank you.

As checking the responses received the solution would be to amend smtpd_sasl_authenticated_header posted to yes in main.cf, more Guando change to yes and restart the zimbra he Back as in, reading some more I saw that should be changed in zimbra / conf / zmmta.cf, I check this file it appears as:

Postconf smtpd_sasl_authenticated_header LOCAL postfix_smtpd_sasl_authenticated_header

would only change in this way zmmta.cf ?

Postconf smtpd_sasl_authenticated_header yes

Could someone tell me if this would be the solution.
