Default split the traffic imap, pop3 and smtp

Hello,

I have 5 public IP on my server so is it possible to split the traffic of the pop3, imap and smtp protocol to 3 differents IP's? and keep the mail ip to the port 80 which is the webmail client.

Cheers,

You can certainly direct your external mail clients to use a specific IP address but it won't make any difference to the load on your server as it all ends up at the same place.

it can be reduce the traffic on the IP and improve the connection speed to that IP or it cant be make difference while all the services are at the same server?

The main goal to this scenario is to forward all the traffic of Imap to an IP and the POP3 to another IP and let the IP of 80 is free in order to increase the connection speed to the web browsing...

Any idea or clarification could be appreciated!

Cheers,

You'd do that at your firewall with QoS.
