Default Which port for smtp authentication???

I install zimbra (6.0.7.1) with 2 zone: one is mail gateway (mta-proxy) and one is all others.
When enable smtp authentication from MTA, the config says the zimbraMtaAuthURL is http://mystore.mydomain:80/service/soap (or https://mystore.mydomain:443/service/soap if webserver runs at 443). But actually, zimbra always use https://mystore.mydomain:7071/service/admin/soap, so i have to open 7071 to access from MTA to Store.
Is it a bug?
