Default SSL for Domain virtualhost

Hello,

I want to install SSL for a domain virtualhost in my Zimbra server. I have an SSL certificate already installed for the hostname, I know that new CSR should be generated for the virtualhost by using "-subjectAltNames". My question is that, whether we want to change/renew the SSL cert already installed in the server or the existing one can be redeployed for both the hostname and virtualhost? Please help.

If you need to have SSL support for more than one domain, using Subject Alternative Name, on Zimbra, then you need a UCC cert. A regular cert won't work.

You might want to vote for Bug 8128 – multiple SSL certificates on one server, which would at least allow you to just buy a second commercial cert and install it alongside the first one.
