Default [SOLVED] what happens when license expires?

Our license will expire in about a week. We are weighing our options now (whether to switch to open source edition). We just want to make sure that if we haven't decided by the expiration date (government decision making at its best!) our email will still work .

Thank you,

Joe (admin1)

The server will continue to work as an NE server for 30 day after the licence expiration, after that it will revert to the Open Source version features (there's a thread in the forums with details, search for that). The notable change will be the fact you will not be able to add any more users to the server even if your licence was for more than your currently provisioned number of users. The 'upgrade' to the Open Source version will fix that problem.

Default Zimbra server behavior after the licenses expire

Hello,
This post is a year old, so can you please confirm that the Zimbra server will continue to work as an NE server for 30 days after the license expires. Then, after the 30days is up it will revert to the Open Source version features, and we will not be able to add users to the server any more?
We are migrating to a new system as I type, but we will not have everyone migrated by July 1, which is when our license expires.
Thanks in advance for the information. Cindy

Default grace period in 7.1

I am in a similar situation. I found this doc for 7.1 Network Edition:

http://www.zimbra.com/docs/ne/latest...20Edition.html

It says 30 days grace period.
