Default zimbra 6.0.6 check updates read wrong os

hello there
i almost fall for a mistake i have downloaded the 6.0.7 update from the link provided in zimbra admin panel under checkupdates
for some reason the link was http://files.zimbra.com/downloads/6....0610202621.tgz

i run 6.0.6 on redhat 5 64bit single cluster

i found after un compressed the file it wasnt matching the 64 bit binary let along its redhat 4

That's correct, it's the RHEL4 binary that you've downloaded. I don't know where you've got that download from but the correct version is on the Download page

the download link was generated from inside admin control panel under software updates thats the bug iam talking about

I believe this is probably an unforeseen side-effect of the shortcut to just produce one single 6.0.6.1 patch (built on RHEL4 as I recall)

I too am on CentOS 5 64-bit, with the 6.0.6.1 patch installed, and I get the same link to RHEL 4 - 32bit in my Available Software Updates zimlet page.

It may be best to send out a generic "Go to the downloads page" if the incoming baseline is 6.0.6.1 to avoid having lots of people go through this bad download process.

Create an account and complete the details of the error and which version of Zimbra you are using, there's guidelines on completing a bug report and this is the page you want.
