Default Some sizing directions

Hi,

We are in the process of purchasing Zimbra. 4000-5000 mailboxes. I would like to hear from some people on the number of servers they use as well as functionmality breakdown. Just want to get a sense of what other people are doing.

Thanks

Moses

The answer would depend on: the number of users you expect to be active at any one time; the levels of email traffic; whether the users will be connected via IMAP, the Outlook Connector or the Web UI; what sort of hardware you are expecting to use etc. etc.

Have you spoken to sales about the sort of configuration you anticipate or perhaps searched the forums (there are several threads with various usage scenarios) for some details?

Hi,

Yes ofcourse I did and they were very helpful. I thought was hoping that some sites might give me their architecture. I would extrapolate from that expereince some direction.

Thanks

Well, as I said, it depends on your expected usage and people will need to have some idea of what you're expecting to be able to give you some advice. As I also mentioned, there are several threads in the forums with sizing details - have you read them?
