Disable 'send this message on behalf of' for shared folders

I'm having a problem with shared folders on Zimbra. Its easier to demonstrate with an example:

• User A (John) shares a folder with User B (Mike)
• When User B replies or forwards messages from that folder, they are sent with a 'From' address of User A (John Smith), not the from address of User B (Mike Jones)

This is even though I have (on User B's account) to use a different persona when replying to messages in a certain folder.

Is there a way to make sure the persona settings override the shared folder's account settings?

One clarification. When User B sends a message from User A's shared folder, the resulting message shows as follows:

The 'from' field shown when looking at the list of messages in the Zimbra client shows User A's username (the portion of the email before the domain).

The 'from' field shown in the message itself shows as User B (the one with whom the folder is shared with). It does not show the persona.

Unchecking the 'send this message on behalf of' box makes the message work as advertised. Is there a way to make this the default?

I just did a bugzilla search and found these bugs that might be worth looking into:

The last has a possible workaround in the comments.
