Default Logger keeps crashing

I'm currently running Zimbra 6.0 and I am having an odd problem.

the logger server keeps crashing and restarting on my server. I need a way to clean it out or reinitialize the service but the procedures I have found are not working for me.

Thoughts?

Please update your forum profile with the output of the following command (do not post it in this thread):

Code:
zmcontrol -v

It's difficult to give you any advice without knowing what you've tried already. Which procedures have you tried and what were the results? What exactly are the symptoms and are there any error messages in the log files?

Default zmcontrol

Excuse my inexperience but a colleague is the one that normally works with the server. I tried zmcontrol -v and all I got back was command not found.

Run it as the Zimbra user:

Code:
su - zimbra
zmcontrol -v

I have added the version to my profile. I think my problem may have been not running it as the zimbra user in the past, but now I cannot find the procedure I used. Can you point me to one that will work on Zimbra 6?

Thank,
