Default Access user addressbook over LDAP

Hi,

is it possible to access the user address book over the LDAP protocol like the GAL ??
We could be able to share the contacts not only in zimbra but also over other client's like Thunderbird via LDAP

Hope there is a solution for it.

Thx in advanced for a feedback

Some idea of the ZImbra version installed would be a good starting point. Please update your forum profile with the output of the following command (do not post it in this thread):

Code:
zmcontrol -v

No, I don't think so.

But you might have luck using Zindus with Thunderbird, or CardDAV with other clients. Other things to search for (on the forums and internet search, and depending on your needs) include kolab, evolution connector, and kontakt/kde.

I looked into something like that, but found via the forums that the user's address books are actually stored in MySQL, not LDAP.
