configration of zimra mail from IMAP TO POP3

Hi,
I am running zimbra mail server as IMAP server. Now i want to change it to POP3. Can i Change it to pop3, if yes then tell me procedure.

You don’t need to 'change it' to POP, Zimbra is both an IMAP & POP3 server (assuming you've enabled access to it - check the Admin UI). You really don't want to use POP3, the users will have a better experience if they continue to use IMAP.

when i try existing accout as pop3 giving error


Task ' - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts. The server responded: -ERR pop access not enabled for account'

You should first update your forum profile with the output of the following command (do not post it in this thread):

zmcontrol -v

Go to the Admin UI and check the settings for the server and check the settings for the POP server and see if it's enabled.
