    Default spamassassin 3.3.1 ? 'fixed' in 6.0.5, n/a in v6.0.6.

i'm looking for dbl.spamhaus.org support ... it requires SA v3.3.1.

    reading,

    "Upgrade SpamAssassin to 3.3.1"
    Bug 44281 – Upgrade SpamAssassin to 3.3.1

    says,

    Status: VERIFIED
    Resolution: FIXED
    Version: 6.0.5_ZCS_GunsNRoses

    checking my install,

    zmcontrol -v
    Release 6.0.6_GA_2330.RHEL5_64_20100505212335 CentOS5_64 FOSS edition.

is, apparently newer than the committed fix's target ... yet, still,

    /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/bin/spamassassin --version
    SpamAssassin version 3.2.5
    running on Perl version 5.8.8

in the bug, there's back-n-forth about will/won't be in v6.0.6, and the last post says 'working fine' in Script is working fine on 6.0.7_GA_2403.RHEL4_20100502181700. basically, i've lost track ...

(where) can we get/install SA v3.3.1 for v6.0.6?

the version field means the version teh bug was reported in, not the version it's fixed in. its not fixed until 6.0.7 which will probably be out this week. you should wait for that instead of trying to do it yourself.

    Thanks for the clarification.

On my 'other' boxes I've been running SA 3.3.x-trunk for ages, with no probs; honestly, an easy build/install.

BUT, crowbarring it into Zimbra is not something I'm ready for yet. Advice noted -- wait for 6.0.7.

    Thanks.
