Multiple copies of same email

Hi,

We currently upgraded to 6.0.6_GA_2331.RHEL4 (Release 6.0.6_GA_2331.RHEL4_20100505170712 CentOS4 NETWORK edition) and users reported issue with multiple copies of a same message in their Inbox, both via Outlook and Webmail.

We checked the log for ESMTP id of a message, and it delivered only ONCE to the user(s). This appears to be happening to distribution list; i.e sending an email to a distribution list and a few memmbers would receive it in multiple copies.

Did anyone experience this issue?

Further, we see such error; and this could cause multiple copie of a simgle message?

(delivery temporarily suspended: lost connection with zimbra01.domain.com[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] while sending end of data -- message may be sent more than once)

What is the solution here?

It's resolved. There was a local nameserver in /etc/resolver which caused lookup issue, removed it and it no longer re-queued an email.
