    Default invalid reindexing status

    I see invalid reindexing status (0 items) on my zimbra:

    Is this known bug?

    I'm not sure I see the problem. The command is taking effect and that can be seen in the mailbox.log which show's that it is progressing.
    I assume you are querying the fact that the command initially reports that there are zero items remaining to process but this is due to you firing a background command at an interactive prompt. The system is telling you how many messages there are to index before it's actually counted that number, so everything starts at zero at the CLI and the log files show the real numbers.

    I see same problem when i try to reindex mailbox via admin web interface: 0 messages to reindex.

    This problem begins since upgrade zimbra from 5.0.x to 6.0.x

    Its an unclear message for sure, and that should likely be adjusted. I'd recommend filing a bug at bugzilla.zimbra.com for it.

    The mailbox.log seems to show that the mailbox is actually being indexed though, so the bug with be just cosmetic rather than functional. Still worth reporting though.
