Default regression tracking using bugzilla and pm.zimbra.com?

I've been trying to come up with a way to easily identify the bugs that are known to exist in a given version of Zimbra, and so far I haven't found any good solutions.

E.g. if I search bugzilla for open bugs by that version, I'll miss bugs that were found in earlier versions and not yet fixed. If I look in pm.zimbra.com for (open issues in the major release + issues that are resolved in later versions) I'll be including any regressions that were introduced in later versions and not yet fixed.

The fact that some bugs are found pre-release and then fixed in the same version (sometimes via a post-release patch) also complicates things.

Any suggestions? Otherwise I'll put in an RFE. E.g. if someone running ZCS 5 needs if they should upgrade to ZCS 6.0.5, 6.0.6, or wait for 6.0.7, they need this info.
