Question Some sent mails not being saved to sent folder

I've had reports from some of our users that some of the sent emails they sent do not get saved to their sent folder. They mentioned these containing attachements.

I've failed to recreated the issue myself. I was wondering has anyone else come across this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Welcome to the forums

Are they all using the Zimbra Web Client or something else ?

Thanks for the welcome!

I was actually thinking the same. If they were using a desktop client, maybe some messages were stored locally, but they are only using the webclient in the browser.

Your problem sounds kind of hit-and-miss / on-and-off, but just thought I would add that I've had users complain about stuff not going into the Sent folder before and it turned out that they had un-checked the preferences box to "Save a copy in the Sent folder". I'm currently running 6.0.6.1 so I can't check for sure, but I believe in the 5.x level this preference box was right next to the "Out of Office" section, which users go into often.

The other thought I had is did these users, by chance, try to setup a filter for sent messages with attachments or something like that?
