Default unable to modify documents in briefcase

Hi, i'm running a cluster with Zimbra version:

Release 6.0.6_GA_2324.RHEL5_20100406131453 RHEL5 NETWORK edition.

My problem it's related to briefcase.

I can create a new document (nd) and save it.

Now I can edit it, but if I wanna save, i can't. I pressed the button hundred times and no answer. Simply doesn't save.

I have read about that, and other people post was empty of answers.

How can I solve this?

My browser is Mozilla Firefox latest version.

regards

Hi, a new update.

my url is: https://mail.foo.bar

Then click on Briefcase and edit a document:

the URL is:

http://mail.foo.bar/home/name.surnam...e/av1?fmt=html

Then If I try to modify as I mentioned before doesn't work. But if i "rewrite" to httpS

httpS://mail.foo.bar/home/name.surname@foo.bar/Briefcase/av1?fmt=html

I can modify and save the new changes on the document.

So the new tab opened always is in HTTP, is there any way to force opening in HTTPS or maybe is a BUG on the release?

thanks

I have created bug 44985, which is for a similar, but maybe not exactly the same issue that you are having. Unfortunately my bug doesn't seem to be getting much attention; still marked as unconfirmed. I definitely think there are some issues with the way links are being constructed when accessing the briefcase. I'd go ahead and file a new bug report. Your issues is probably a little more "mainstream" than mine. Maybe it will get someone's attention that there is an issue.

I haven't file a bug for your issue. I haven't run into the exact problem you are describing yet, so you know more about it than I do. You can file bugs at bugzilla.zimbra.com,

Hi, I had solved with the option zimbraPublicServiceProtocol that comes disabled configured to https.

now my problem continue with something similar to your problem:

In the other way, I had changed the option Public Server Name, but now in the
briefcase the links had change both (public and private). I mean:

my private server url is https://mail.foo.bar

my public server url is https://webmail.foo.bar

So If I am inside the company y write https://mail.foo.bar and the links of the
documents of briefcase are https://webmail.foo.bar..........

Thats is a new bug? regards
