Default more help for a newbie - smtp connection refused

I've searched the forums most of it is over my head

I was sending email fine yesterday - this morning, however, I can send nothing. My client connects to mail.@@@@@.com and then says server could be unavailable or refusing stmp connections. - any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Hi, sorry to hear of your problems.
you will need to provide some more information before anyone can answer you though.

Are you sending mail via a Zimbra server? If so, what version is it, where is it located, is it on the same network as you, what client are you sending mail from, what type of internet connection are you using?

That'd be a start

You've posted this in the Zimbra Desktop forum, is it a problem with ZD or the Zimbra server?

If it's the server you'll need to provide more information about the problem, you could start with any errors in the log files.

BTW, these are Community supported forums and people will answer your queries when they get the time.

Right, it's now in the correct forum but what about the errors in the log file that I asked about?
