Default Right Click, send to

Hi, i've installated Zimbra in my company for mail server.
The client, before installing, are usually to do a right click, send to, for sending the attachement and so, the client mail compose new mail.
Is there the possibility to do this in Zimbra?
Is there a Zimlet, a specify configuration for allow users to make a right click, send to mail contact for to send the attachment?

Tanks a lot!

Fabio

Welcome to the forums

No, unfortunately with the ZWC (Zimbra Web Client) there is currently no way to provide that functionality; and yes a lot of us would love that

What I have done for one or two users is to setup thunderbird, even though they use the web client, that way when they right click, send to - it will go!

Doesn't the option to 'right-click/edit as new' on an email (they'd have to enter the new recipient) do what you want?

No Phoenix; the OP would like to send attachments from applications using the SendTo method. That does not work with ZWC etc as is a real pain for people moving away from Exchange who use it all the time.

I understand what he asked but the 'edit as new' might do until that feature is available.

How would you get the attachment into ZWC ? If this is sending the same attachment multiple times to different recipients then yes you can do exactly as Phoenix has indicated. If it is a different attachment each time then its not possible.

Phoenix could you explain in a little more detail what you are suggesting? The lack of the Send To --> Mail recipient functionality has always been at the top of my "missing features" list for the ZWC. Frankly, based on how long it has been an open bug/RFE I'm not too optimistic that it will ever be available with the ZWC, probably due to programming complexity issues. Even if there were a less than perfect work-around I'd be willing to give it a try.

(BTW, I don't think this functionality is working with the Zimbra Desktop either; at least I haven't been able to get it to work. Based on what I've read, it seems like they are a lot closer to making it available with ZD though.)
