[SOLVED] How to Import LDIF data into ZCS OpenSource Edition

Hi-

I hope this is the right place to ask this question, I am very new to zimbra.

I successfully installed ZCS OpenSource edition on Ubuntu, and had success with setting up and creating some users. So with our test, sending and receiving emails are working, and no problems with it.

However, I was recently handed an LDIF file and asked to import it into Zimbra.
I can't seem to figure out how to do this.

I tried the procedure mentioned in this blog:

and did not have any success with it (The post might be very old).

From the Administation console, I saw the "Bulk Provision" button but it requires a csv file to import. So I ended up trying to convert ldif into csv with the procedure mentioned here:

but when I try to upload the csv ,I get this following error:

"Server error occured
Message : system failure: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutofBoundsException: 1
Error Code: service.Failure Method: GetBulkProvisionAccountsRequest
Details:soap:Receiver"

My ldif looks like this:

There are actual entries up above instead of the dots, I just removed them to post in here.

Can somebody direct me to an how-to for uploading an LDIF file into ZCS? or can somebody give me some pointers where to look on how to do this?

The Perl script you referenced is for converting LDIF into a CSV for contacts and not new accounts.

Thanks, actually I figured out the problem.

I got a csv instead of ldif.....
