| | Postfix problem receiving the initial server greeting I got this morning this error message in mail.log :
status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: conversation with zimbra.geismar.com[88.191.228.37] timed out while receiving the initial server greeting)
What's wrong.
Sam.

Sam. | How about DNS problem, network problem, firewall problem, one of the ZImbra services not running or something similar to those problems - you should investigate those problems first. Try and telnet to the server by FQDN & IP address and see if you get any problems.
BTW, when you post errors messages from the logs it helps to post more than just the error line - sometimes the significant detail is in the surrounding messages.

| | | In the first instance, the sending mail server is on at least one RBL: Code: http://www.uceprotect.net/rblcheck.php?ipr=88.191.228.37 Is this a VServer by any chance?
All the best,
Mark

You didn't mention that the €150 is for Express de-listing and there's a free option where you wait for that to expire and the affected IP is removed. What you should do is investigate why that IP is on the blacklist and fix the problem so it doesn't happen again.
