Default [SOLVED] How to enable 'read confirmation' request

Hello,
I need to setup some automatic flag, which will mark outgoing email from Zimbra and popup the 'read confirmation' request on the reciever site. This is common in Outlook and Thunderbird, and probably in other mailers.
I think this bugreport is about this feature: Bug 7257 – Support read receipts in webmail which should be available in version 6.x
There are some portitions of commands in comment #140, but I'm not able to make it work. I've tried this:

Code:
zimbra$ zmprov modifyCos default zimbraMailPrefSendReadReceipts prompt
ERROR: account.INVALID_ATTR_NAME (invalid attr name: [LDAP: error code 17 - zimbraMailPrefSendReadReceipts: attribute type undefined])
I'm almost sure that I'm doing something wrong. Thank you for any advice.

Best regards,
Martin Kudlacek

i think that setting is what to do when someone sends you an e-mail with a read receipt request. should it always reply, never reply, or prompt you. this is controlled in the user preferences under mail. from the sounds of it this isn't what you want is it?

if i read your question you're looking for a way to make it so outgoing e-mails from zimbra always have a read receipt reequest in them, instead of your users having to choose to request it on every message. i'm not sure if this option is available or not

Run the following command and see what it shows:

Code:
zmprov gc default | grep Receipts

Hello Phoenix,
output of that command is blank. So attribute zimbraMailPrefSendReadReceipts is not present, or has no default value?

Hello uxbod,
thanks for reply, it works. I've discovered, that attribute name (zimbraPrefMailSendReadReceipts) is mispelled in bugreport..

Regards,
Martin
