chat logs/history

any further news if this is a capability? It would be nice for users to have their chat history available and search-able withing the web client, much like is possible on gmail.

I moved your post as it was not really the same as the original one.

Chats are searchable from within the web client. Go to the search bar at the top and type

in:Chats sometexttosearchfor

What happens if I use a IM client (spark)? I didn't found any log of chat...

I tried this commands as zimbra user:

$ zmprov gal someaccount@mydomain.whatever zimbra.im > mylog.txt

and nothing happened
